剧情：律师甘祖赞（谢天华 饰)与刑事检控官况天蓝（杨怡 饰)本是同居情侣，但一次求婚不遂令两人分手收场，不过命运弄人，祖赞刚转职成为刑事检控官，再度与天蓝共处，但二人办案手法截然不同，加上新秘书祝双悦（王君馨 饰)的介入，令恶劣的关系到了无可挽救的地步，但祖赞为拒婚一事一直耿耿于怀，孰知天蓝真的另有隐情…… 另方面，父亲甘保祥（许绍雄 饰)收养的孤儿甘波地（森美 饰)与祖赞情同手足，波地身为重案组探员经常与祖赞有合作机会，在一次行动中更认识了卧底探员艾美辰（陈敏之 饰)，两人水火不融但互补长短，波地决定不理身世向已有未婚夫的美辰展开追求，正当各人为前路踌躇之际，一宗女富商庞铁心（陈炜 饰)牵涉的谋杀案让他们共同经历了艰巨和凶险的一役……
