剧情：就職活動で連戦連敗中の大学4年生・笠松（かさまつ）ほたるには、ある“天敵”がいる。 小中高も一緒、そして、今も家の近くに住んでいる同級生の鍵谷美晴（かぎや・みはる）、そのひとだ。 クラスのもめ事にも正論で返し、さまざまなアクシデントも創意工夫で乗り越える。いつも自分の前でまぶしいスポットライトを浴び続ける存在。そんな幼なじみのキャラで自分を装い、入社試験に臨んだとしたら・・・ 「わたしにとってこんな自分だったらいいのには、鍵谷美晴だった」 美晴の個性を自分のものとして偽り、提出したエントリーシートは、なんと通過。どう受け止めたら良いのかわからぬまま、次の面接、次の面接と、笑顔で嘘をつき続けていく・・・。 時は流れ、3年後。無事に内定を得たほたるは、有名大手企業でバリバリと仕事をこなしている。そんなとき、エントリーシートを拝借した相手である美晴本人に街でばったり再会する。ほたると美晴、浅からぬ縁の二人は、果たしてお互いを許し合えるのだろうか？
