剧情：王子的到来让莱奥纳多（理查德布赖尔斯 Richard Briers 饰）的庄园熠熠生辉，王子的亲信克拉迪奥（罗伯特肖恩莱纳德 Robert Sean Leonard 饰）爱上了莱奥纳多的女儿希洛（凯特贝金赛尔 Kate Beckinsale 饰），在王子的帮助下，两人互相吐露的心迹，两人的婚礼也提上了日程。对王子一直心怀芥蒂的弟弟约翰（基努李维斯 Keanu Reeves 饰）企图毁掉这幸福美满的一幕，他将克拉迪奥带到希洛房间的窗前，又命自己的部下和希洛的侍女在房中大行苟且之事。克拉迪奥将侍女误认为奚洛，悲伤有愤怒，在婚礼上，他大声斥责希洛的不忠，约翰的阴谋得逞了。然而，纸包不住火，当约翰的诡计被识破后，克拉迪奥能否和希洛重拾前缘呢？
