剧情：债务缠身、暴力充斥、家庭失能……在绝望深渊的他们能否燃烧斗志，力拼看似遥不可及的胜利？本剧以大胆揪心的手法刻画人性，描述不良少年小濑清（一之濑亘 饰）在走投无路之下，以“猿樱”之名踏进相扑界，成了相扑力士。小濑消极怠惰，经常跷掉训练，又爱跟前辈作对，因此被视为无药可救的废柴，后来却逐渐迷上相扑。这部作品细腻刻画人性，聚焦小濑与相扑圈里的一群年轻人，包括行动笨拙、体格不优，却一心梦想成为“关取”的清水（染谷将太 饰），以及从政治新闻被“下放”报道相扑的报社菜鸟国岛飞鸟（忽那汐里 饰），看他们如何克服挑战，找到自己的一片天地。
