剧情：在冈村正（高桥克典 饰）的推动下，依靠大企业捐助采购最先进设备和网罗优秀人才的全新经营模式的L&P医院日益壮大，它给医界新秀提供一展才华的空间，但同时为了盈利也想方设法赶走不会带来经济效益的病人，另一方面许多地方医院受到L&P医院的倾轧濒临破产。樱井综合医院正是这些举步维艰的小医院中的一个，院长樱井修三（平干二朗 饰）原准备接受L&P医院的注资，但其爱徒朝田龙太郎（坂口宪二 饰）的及时回归让他重燃希望。秉承为患者着想的无上理念，龙太郎先后找来了加藤晶（稻森泉 饰）、伊集院登（小池彻平 饰）和荒濑门次（阿部隆史 饰）等收到同行潜规则算计的优秀医生，组成了一支强大的医疗团队。 以小博大的战斗，也正是信念和物欲的抗争……
