剧情：久保田正纯（东山纪之 饰）是一档新闻类节目News Life的当家主播，他的事业顺风顺水，生活优渥，除了其出众过人的能力外，更有一位堪称完美的娇妻在背后筑起了坚强的后盾。正纯的妻子光（柴咲幸 饰）美丽温柔，体贴可亲，六年以来她周到细致地打理好家中的一切，用心服务丈夫，为正纯的事业出谋划策，更主动承担起照顾婆婆的重任。然而两人却维持着极不寻常的夫妻关系，光至今没有入籍，夫妻间依靠一纸每三年续签的合同维持，合同期间光负责打理家中的一切事务，甚至丈夫出轨也绝不过问，作为回报正纯将把年收入的一定比例支付给光。只是如今正纯不再满足于这样的虚假情分，他希望迎娶光，共同孕育下一代，谁知这份要求却遭到了妻子的拒绝。 似乎曾经的情感经历，让光选择了极不寻常的爱情之路……
