剧情：在依山傍水的东州市东江县，创建于20世纪70年代的国有企业东州热电公司内喧嚣嘈嚷，工人们此前给审计局打过电话反映问题，要求审计局进入公司对所存在的情况进行核实。未过多久，东州市审计局经责处处长徐咏萍（史兰芽 饰）带领叶开（李立宏 饰）、黄柯（夏德俊 饰）、袁忠诚（孙德元 饰）、金逗逗（武文佳 饰）组成的审计小组，在局长周维海（廖京生 饰）和副局长董寿年（何政军 饰）的领导下进入该公司。相关领导布下重重障碍，虚以委蛇。此外则有知情者辗转反映问题，提供情报。经过缜密调查，东电背后的各种秘密相继浮出水面。 除此之外，徐咏萍和同志们的战斗仍未结束，她们仍将迎接更大的挑战……
